Why a Private Pool Room in Lahore Is Rarer Than You Think

Most hotels in Lahore that advertise a "pool" mean the same thing. A single rectangle on the roof or in a courtyard. Shared between every guest in the building. Open 7 AM to 10 PM. Lifeguard on a plastic chair. Ten other people already in it.

Weekends book out first. Wedding season (October to February) is the hardest to get a date in. Summer weekends — when Lahore couples are doing a beat-the-heat night — go fast too.
